My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marilyn,

Marilyn is a gorgeous Lab/ Terrier mix who is about 2 years old. Marilyn is scared of everything new, but with time confidence and lots of TLC she will grow to welcome the world. She loves playing with other dogs and toys but is also an amazing cuddler. She wants a home that is committed to taking her to obedience classes while continuing her socialization. Marilyn is hoping for a person/family who will provide her with a life of mental and physical stimulation while keeping her safe and happy. She is young, so she needs a plan if there are longer workdays, so she is not spending too much time in a crate.

Marilyn came to us with her puppies, and friend and puppies. They were found roaming the desert together starving, covered in ticks, fleas, dehydrated, and scared. A fellow rescuer reached out for help, and we were happy to assist these lovely souls.

All Lovejoy Foundation dogs and puppies can be seen at our weekend adoption events Saturday and Sunday from 11am-5pm. Keep in mind our adoption events take place in an outside venue, with wet weather, high winds, and chilly temperature we would not hold a normal event, so please call ahead before coming 310-719-5707. We are a Southern California based rescue, we do not adopt out more than a 40 minute radius. Please visit our website for more information about our Rescue
