My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Toby. I am a two year old boy with the softest amber eyes. I spent most of my life on a chain "guarding" a lot in Newark. When it started getting cold some nice people came and took me to a "foster" home whatever that means. They gave me surgery to fix my bloody tail and neuter me. I have all my vaccines now. I live in a small apartment and I'm warm and loved. I've never been happier but I'm not a good match for this home because there is a lot of dogs in and out and some of them I just don't like. I want to select my family if they have a dog. If they don't have a dog. I'd like to be in a family with older kids because I am a big boy. A fenced yard would be my ultimate dream home but if you can walk me and keep these dogs that bother me away, leash walks are good for me too. I like the reclusive life since I didn't get socialized or something like that. I love snuggling on the couch and I'm a good boy in the home. I don't chew things. Oh wait, I once had a fight with a pillow and there were feathers everywhere. I didn't mean for that to happen. I have a decent amount of energy so I could keep up with you. I also love to lounge around.
