My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to this sweetest girl, Goldie. She is as cute as she is sweet. Goldie is quiet in her run, walks well on a leash, and sits when told. This 2 year old girl was lost and brought into the shelter all alone. She will fit into any family that is looking for affection and love from a forever friend. This 46 pound cutie will be waiting in run 833, and her ID # is 621006. She is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. Goldie was adopted and returned, apparently for nipping someone in the home, a bite waiver will need to be signed.

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter.1060 Al Bishop Drive Marietta, Georgia 30008, (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sat. 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. & Sundays 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., CLOSED Mondays & Holidays.
