My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Kirby and I am a purebred, smooth collie. If you look closely on my face and ears you will see some grayish/brown coloring, that is because i am sable merle, a little different from a sable and white. I will be 2 years old on the first day of August so I still act like a puppy in many ways. I do still chew occasionally so I might have to be crated while you are away. I love to romp and play with other dogs and I have been around young children, but i would do best with children 10 or older since I may get excited and jump and accidentally knock them down. I have lived with a cat so I know how to respect them. i am house trained, know how to use a doggy door and a good rider and leash trained. I have not spent much time in crate, but would do well for short periods of time or for sleeping at night. I would make a great jogging partner, hiking partner and could easily be trained for obedience or agility.
