Mimi was surrendered to the shelter when her owner got a different puppy after Christmas. She is a chihuahua mix about 5 months old and 8.5 pounds. She was a meek little girl afraid in her new surroundings at first, even though she loved to cuddle! She likes personal attention and affection, but to be put on the counter in the lobby and dressed up in outfits made her a little uncomfortable. She endured, and now that she's had time to get to know the staff and be a little spoiled by them, she is beginning to romp and play! But from time to time she will jump up on someone's lap to be cuddled again! Mimi has begun to run and play and be a typical happy puppy. She has a room of her own at the shelter, but she gets very lonely at times. She's been pretty good at using puppy pads in her room, and with just a little training, she'd soon housebreak! This little girl is adorable, and we can't believe someone gave her up!
