My story

This lovely lady is Tally, a 3 year old Retriever mix in search of a new leash on life. She was recently surrendered to the shelter by her previous owners, who said they didn'thave enough space for her. They described her as great with kids, anxious with dogs, and curious but friendly towards cats. Tally is house-trained, crate-trained, knows sit and come, and moderately active. She has been very sweet with the staff and visitors she has had, and seems like a friendly, smart girl. Since she is anxious with other dogs, we recommend a meet-and-greet with any other pups in the home to make sure they get along before adopting. When going into a new environment, Tally might need some time to learn the new rules and routine. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Come and meet her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.
