My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Found as a hungry and frightened stray, Jessica has blossomed into her true amazing, gentle, and kind self. The perfect blend of playful puppy and relaxed companion, this sweet girl is house-trained, crate-trained, and pretty much everything you could want in a dog. Her hobbies include running, play tug-o-war, and cuddling. She loves to meet new people young and old as well as dogs of all sizes, as long as she gets the opportunity to sniff them and get acquainted.

Jessi who is now being fostered in Chicago area, is still a puppy, so she does get excited and curious when meeting new people. With gentle positive reinforcement training methods, she can become the most pleasant greeter. She also does still get excited on leash and distracted by wildlife, and can benefit from reward based training classes so that she can learn how to fully enjoy life in a human world. She is incredibly smart, loves to learn new things, and is ready to be shown the good life! She's great in a yard and respects a fenced boundary, however she should not be left in the yard unsupervised.  

Jessi is ready to be loved by her forever family with an active lifestyle and an interest to continue to teach this young lady new and exciting things. Could that be you?
