Jilly was rescued from the Downey shelter with her two babies. This young mom's kittens got adopted but she was overlooked because she was fearful. She never hissed or bit, but she was scared of hands approaching her. These past few months, Jilly has really blossomed. Now she will come up for pets and back scratches. She will even meow for your attention. She gets along well with the small dogs and other cats she lives with and loves to groom the kitten. Jilly spends most of her day looking outside or curled up in a chair. She would do well in a home without small children as she doesn't like to be picked up.
