My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wyatt is approximately 1 year old, weighs 42 lbs, and has a beautiful red coat with white markings. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and determined to be healthy by a veterinarian. He has been living his life as a reservation stray until recently and is happily learning the new world of living in a home and having a family.

He is proud to tell you that he is house broken and can’t believe how handy it is to use the doggy door. He tells us he was voted 2019 Rez Dog Mr. Congeniality, which is easy for us to believe, and his good nature was likely very useful for him for finding various people willing to feed him. Wyatt is not an alpha dog and not food aggressive. He is not shy about wanting to make new friends with people or other dogs and really just wants to get along. He is very playful and loves playing with other dogs. He also loves to be wherever you are, even if that’s in the bathroom. He has been left by himself in the house for a couple of hours and was a complete gentleman.

He is requesting a home with a fenced yard, preferably another doggy brother or sister to play with and a family that will let him keep riding in the car, his new favorite thing. CATS: Wyatt currently lives with two cats but these cats have no problem making sure he knows who is boss, which is not him.
