My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Annod ( Donna backwards)! Annod is two years old, loves to go for walks and just hang out. She can be shy at first like many rescue dogs, but she will warm up fast. When she met her recent foster family she was shy for about 20 minutes and then was in laps and playing quickly. If you are looking for a low maintenance pup, consider this sweet girl!

Annod is in a foster home with 2 adults and one 12 year old boy. She is very loving and comfortable with older children, but we haven't been able to see her around younger children yet. She is constantly on the couch with the 12 year old and loves to play with toys and go for walks. She is an active dog, but is very mellow and easy to take care of. Her foster parents report that she pees about 3 times a day, even though they offer a lot more potty breaks. They close the bedroom doors and she has free range of the living space and kitchen when they leave to run errands and she is perfectly behaved. No accidents or chewing so far.

Annod will be a very faithful and warm companion. She gets along with her pack siblings, but can be possessive over food with other dogs. If she isn't an only dog, the recommendation would be to feed separately. Annod socializes well with younger dogs, but isn't good with older dogs due to being bossy.

Overall, she just loves to sleep with her person and share the office chair. Kisses are the best! She would be best with smaller pups, she is a bit fearful of larger dogs.

Annod was found as a stray and took a bit of convincing to allow a person to take her in. Every day she gets better and better. We prefer Annod be adopted into a home with an enclosed yard.
