My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Francis Colt (aka “Frankie”) is a cat shrouded in mystery. He appeared out of nowhere on a rainy, cold day, in a small Huntsville community. He was peering in windows and loitering on porches, as if he was trying to find someone. Neighbors thought he was a pregnant cat who was dumped. After all attempts to find an owner failed, Friends of Rescue stepped in to help.

You can imagine our surprise after the first vet visit! This “pregnant” cat was actually a pudgy 3-year old neutered male!

He is good with other cats, dogs, and kids...he is actually good with any arrangement where he has plenty of food and affection. He talks nonstop and really likes it when you talk back (I cannot be certain, but I think he understands English). He will carry on very intelligent conversations with you.

He also loves to be held, cuddled, kissed, and generally fawned over. He will be your loyal companion, buddy, and friend.

We may not know where he came from, but we know he’s a special guy and his wonderful journey is just beginning.

Francis Colt is fostered in Huntsville, AL. He is felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting him, please fill out an application at forrescue.net.
