My story

“Rhett” for adoption in Lancaster, Southern California

7 yr old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 9 lb. Fully vetted.

“Hi! I’m Rhett and I was taken to the shelter by my old family because they had to move.

It’s great that I got rescued because I was never let inside my old family’s house. They kept me outside for so long that I was SO afraid to come inside my foster home. It took ALOT of coaxing from my foster Mom and she’s been working with me.

I’ve been told I’m beautiful. Maybe this has gone to my head a little cause I can be a little bossy with my foster brother and sister....but just as my namesake says, “frankly my dear, I don’t give a daRn!”
My favorite things are to go on walks and cuddle in a lap and be outside sunning myself in the backyard sometimes. I’m a good boy in my crate at night if you want me there.

I would love to go home with you and learn how to be loved and cared for”
