Last hope before euthanasia- looking for a 2nd chance for Kya:

Female yellow lab mix
53 pounds
2 years old (almost 3)
Good with other dogs and is playful with them. She may benefit from being in a home with another dog who can help her develop more confidence.
Healthy, no medical concerns
Potty trained
Crate trained
Walks nicely on leash
Can sit, stay, come
Does not chew, can be trusted to roam the house freely when alone
Takes dog biscuits gently
Will nudge for pets, loves belly rubs

Kya has special needs due to the following:
*She is quite fearful of men (but loves women)
*bite history- Kya has bitten 2 young boys in the past and needs a home without young children (older/respectful children would be ok)

Kya would thrive in a calm home, preferably with females (males in the home may also be ok if they are gentle and patient until she develops trust).

Kya would make a wonderful companion for the right adopter(s). Kya was very loved by a woman who could not keep her.
