My story

Meet Penelope! This little girl is the perfect lap dog size which is great because all she wants to do is snuggle! She came to CARE with her sister from the city shelter and is now in a foster home soaking up some love while we search for a forever home for her! She is about two months old and looks like a Chihuahua mix. This dog was rescued from a kill shelter or the streets and has been evaluated for medical and temperament to prepare for a forever home and is in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas* and is ready to fly to its final destination once adopted. The adoption fee of $800 covers spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and air transport. Please email Emily at adoptions@caretx.org if you have any question.
