My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rubble certainly has the WOW factor! This 2year old Beagle/Great Dane Mix...yes you read it right....has so many positives it is hard to pass up adopting him. He weighs abut 75 pounds but is shorter and stockier then a traditional Great Dane. First thing to mention is that he LOVES kids. Loves to play, loves to play fetch, follows them everywhere, and gets excited when he sees the five year old in his home. Thus is why his family who loves him has to rehome him. The five year old is petite and Rubble is active and can easily unintentionally knock him over. Rubble loves everyone and everything and shows it with his wiggle body and activity level when he gets excited. He is NON AGGRESSIVE and you can take food away from him and play hard with him and he just keeps on smiling. He would be an excellent dog park dog or a hiking or running companion. He does calm down and will cuddle but his "greeting" energy is more than he can contain. Really is nice to have a furry friend who is so super excited to see you. Another plus is that he is completely housetrained and if it is raining, would prefer to wait ten hours if needed before he goes outside and does his business. When he was a puppy he only had five accidents and was easy to potty train. He is also very smart and learns super quickly. He knows sit and shake and is treat motivated so will learn quickly. We think a great home for him would be with someone who does not have young children so they don't get bumped around but middle school and above would be a great fit. He would love children or an active family. He is your festival type of dog who enjoys people and other dogs! If you like a dog park, he's your man! If you want a couch cuddler, he's your man! He just has so much potential! His family adores him and this will sadden them when he leaves but he has been loved and taken amazing care of! He just needs to make an environment change.

Rubble is being fostered in Middle TN but we have foster homes in many areas.
Transport is available to our fabulous adopters in the NE.
