My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky is available for adoption in South Texas! He is a sweet little shih Tzu. This little teddy bear loves playing with over-sized stuffies, being cuddled, and running around in the yard. Rocky is house trained, pad trained, leash trained, and has learned to ride in a car seat for safe travel. He gets along with dogs and cats. Rocky is looking for a home where he will be kept indoors with his family. He also needs an adopter that will ensure his training and grooming needs are met.

from our behaviorist if they'd like to teach Rocky new tasks. Those services will be free of charge. Rocky is already trained with basic skills. He is even able to use the potty pad and walk on the leash. Rocky would require a special groomer. He does have a certified local groomer that will offer discounted services for the remainder of Rocky's life. Being a Shih Tzu, Rocky does require professional grooming every 4-6 weeks. Rocky is permanently blind due to a head injury. His eyes are clear and healthy; they do not require any special medication or surgery.

Rocky's adoption includes: neuter, vaccines, Bravecto, ProHeart 6, microchip, free lifetime training assistance with our behaviorist, and all of his brand new personal belongings. He has a new bed, toys, treats, dishes, mat, free bag of food, collar, leash, special walking harness, grooming essentials, and much more!
