My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

2 female/2 male Shepherd/Lab Mixed puppies

“Dixie, Fiona, Blue and Sebastian” Shepherd mix puppies, 4 months old.

Meet the 4 pups they are about 4-5 months old. Will grow a little bigger still but not too much.  There are 2 females and 2 males. Weight 13 lbs to 25lbs.These are very lucky puppies as we rescued them from a dog hoarder in Ensenada Mexico who was letting them run all over on the streets.  When we saw them we followed them to an alley where we found the owner and asked if we could take them. We saw that he had A LOT of other dogs in his backyard. He didn’t seem to care and helped us load them into our vehicle. We then took them to directly to the vet where they were boarded for a month to make sure they were healthy. We had them all vaccinated, neutered/spayed, microchipped. We pulled about 100 ticks off of each one of these poor little pups. Then after a month we brought them to San Diego where they are being fostered by one of our volunteers. They are just beautiful. They kind of remind me of meerkats! Just from there tan color and their long dark pointy mussels. They are still a bit skittish but are learning to trust humans. Within one week in foster home they have come so far. Really playful. We don’t’ think they will grow past 20-30 lbs. We did see the what the mother was when we first rescued them and she was petite, maybe 30lbs. But don’t know who or what breed the father was. As the guy didn’t speak English and we didn’t hang around once he loaded them into our vehicle. Please watch their Youtube links to see them in action.
