My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This three year old mix is a hunk of love! A lover boy that would prefer to crawl in your lap and cuddle with you on the couch for as long as you like. What a love! Oreo is about 66 pounds and is eager to please. Such a shame for such a sweet fur baby who unfortunately spent his first three years tied to a tree. His owner died and a neighbor and friend were able to move him into an inside home and now he is living the big life! Oreo is pretty laid back with a few excitement bursts of energy. He will sit for a treat and does like to play outside with another Bloodhound fur baby friend. He has been fine with the non dominant dogs he has been hanging out with so far. However, we think he would do better in a home without cats. His current foster feels he would enjoy children but maybe not a home with toddlers simply because he might knock them down but that it is true with a lot of larger non aggressive dogs as well. Oreo is currently in TN but we have foster homes all over. Transport is available to our friends in the NE.
