My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wolfie is a spunky husky mix puppy that loves to play and loves to nap. He spent the first 7 months of his life roaming the streets scavenging for food wherever he could. He hasn’t had an accident in the house for a while, he’s learned to scratch at the back door to ask to go outside, he’s learned to be significantly more patient when receiving his dinner and he has found his voice (as most huskies do lol). Wolfie loves being in a home with other dogs and is very confident from the get go with most dogs. He does have a medium energy level and will need exercise daily and/or a fenced in backyard where he can play and run around Most nights he is able to make it through without having to go potty but some nights he can’t hold it, he is still young and learning after all. Thankfully however he is kind and will wake you up to take him out. Spending so much time on the streets means he is still adjusting to appropriate behaviours in the house but he’s very food motivated and responds extremely well to training. He is crate trained but prefers not to be in the crate if he doesn’t have to be. Wolfie has a busy mind and loves to chew. In order to ensure he picks the correct items to nibble on it will be important to have plenty of toys, bully sticks, antlers, etc. for him to chew on. Wolfie would be a good fit for any home willing to take him in and love him. He’s adoption fee includes all his core vaccines, neuter, tattoo and microchip. To adopt Wolfie please fill out an adoption application on Jenn’s Furry Friends Rescue’s website.
