Neiman is located in TEXAS. There are not enough homes for all the unwanted dogs down here, so he is willing to move north for a good loving forever home.

Neiman was rescued from a small town dog pound. We think he is a Lhasa Apso (could be a mix). Neiman is still fairly young, maybe around a year of age, and weighs 18 pounds. Neiman is crate trained, appears to be house trained, and otherwise very well behaved in the house. He is good with cats - mine are not afraid of him. Neiman will have to be groomed on a regular basis (please see last picture of what he looked like before grooming). He is a typical Lhasa....grumbly at first...then friendly and loving once he decides you are okay. Neiman would do best in a home with adults or older children that respect his personal space. Neiman really likes treats. He likes being outdoors and would love to go on walks. He is also starting to play with some of the other dogs. Neiman really hates having his face groomed, and whoever adopts him will need a groomer associated with a veterinarians office, because he may have to be sedated. This may or may not get better with time. Neiman must be allowed in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and would like a secure fenced yard to run and play.

Neiman is healthy. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is negative for heartworms and on heart worm and flea prevention. Neiman has a $500.00 adoption fee which includes ground transport to Strasburg VA or Hagerstown MD. He is being fostered in Texas and he will not be sent north until after he is adopted.
