My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

it is my pleasure to formally introduce you to Sadie. Sadie is a lab mix, approximately 4 months old and weighs 25ish lbs who was brought to the shelter with her littermate, Macie. Sadie is available for adoption through Family Addition Dog Rescue of Charlotte. She is as sweet as they come, but is a little shy at first. She enjoys playing with kids and dogs, as well as snuggling on the couch. She is very submissive and will roll over to show her belly to show you that. Being a demure little lady, she takes her time when eating. She is crate trained and house trained. She is eager to please and responds better to praise & snuggles than to food as a reward. She is not food or toy aggressive, at all, and has not shown any prey drive in the yard with birds and squirrels. She is quite curious and while she has not tried to escape on her own, she has been very happy to follow a pup who has. Sadie will do well in a house with or without children of all ages, with or without dogs. She will likely reach approximately 50lbs. She has not been introduced to cats that we know of.

An adoption fee of $250 includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, flea and heartworm preventatives if appropriate, and all medical costs while in our care.
