My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Healy was left as a kitten in a dumpster to starve and die. Thankfully he was heard and rescued. Unfortunately, most of the kittens we rescued in 2019 came from dumpsters and not all of them were as lucky as Healey. We guess the new awful trend is to throw away kittens. Very sad.

Healy has had the extraordinary experience of spending time with a wonderful loving foster family and their dogs and other cats. He plays and sleeps (see picture) with his dog and cat buddies, which is rare for most cats to do. He is amazingly social and naps with his foster mom and follows her around just like his dog pals do. He likes to sleep on the couch and watch TV with his dog pals and human family. He is truly a special kitty who likes dogs, cats, and humans. He is a good family cat. His foster mom calls him “The perfect cat”.

Healy has a strong purr which is on most of the time. He is a stunningly handsome cat with very soft short coat with lovely tabby stripes and ticking throughout it. It is possible that he may have a tiny bit of Bengal or Abyssinian in him. He is fascinated by water like some Bengals are.

Healy is approximately 5-6 months old. He has been fixed and microchipped. He uses the litter box without fail. He has been seen by our Vet and is healthy. He has been de-flead, de-wormed, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and had his first shots.
