Cody is a sweet, one year old chiweenie mix. He’s a little at first but warms up quickly. Other dogs in the home help him to feel for comfortable. Cody is up to date in vaccinations and will be neutered at the end of February.

• Any children in the home? What ages?
• What is your work schedule? Family schedule?
• How many hours per day would the pet be left alone?
• Any other pets in the home? If so, what type?
• Provide detailed video of your fenced yard - entire perimeter including gates and the bottom of the fencing. The video needs to be up close like I am walking your fenceline myself. The yard must be free of foxtails and fully secured.
• A home check may be performed
• If "meet & greet" is scheduled, all household members, dogs included, must be present
Animal Rescue Recon makes sure that each dog is current on its vaccinations, has been or will be spayed or neutered, and is microchipped to help keep pets out of the shelters and get them back home where they belong. - Since all of our adoptable pets are currently in foster homes, please contact Animal Rescue Recon to set up an appointment for a meet and greet. If there is already a dog or children in the home, please plan on bringing them too.
- Pictures of secured fencing are required for all Animal Rescue Recon dogs unless approved for apartment living.
- If you rent a home or apartment we need to review your lease agreement to verify pets are allowed upon adoption.
