Doesn't his he just take your breath away? De Niro is a 5 1/2 year old Long Haired Dachshund mix ready to start a new adventure. He loves cuddles and snuggles and will lounge around in your lap all day if you'd let him. De Niro is a little shy around new people and places, so we do ask that you go a little slow with him and let him come to you. After some treats and a couple of pets, this little guy will be all yours! He doesn't like to always share his toys, and would do better in a home without small children. He would love a calm home that will let him adjust at his own pace. De Niro has done good with the other small dogs in his room, but can be dominant in a home environment. It might be best for him to be the only fur baby in his new home. De Niro has done a good job about learning our potty routine, but may need some time to adjust to the routine in his new home. This sweet pea is current on his vaccines, microchipped and neutered! Unfortunately, De Niro did test positive for heartworms, but don't worry, his treatment is completely covered in his adoption fee! Come meet this handsome boy at the Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook, open every day from 12-6 pm.
