Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you looking for your next travel buddy or cuddly companion? Look no further! Max is a rescue out of north Texas, who was dumped by his family at just a year and a half old.
Though afraid at first, Max has blossomed into the absolute sweetest dog. He is fun, playful, energetic, cuddly, sweet, and adorable. Max is the kind of dog who still has puppy energy to spare but will curl up in a ball on your lap and sleep for hours, too. With his short stubby legs, Max is perfectly compact for road trips in the car or RV (he was taken on a 3000 mile road trip back from Texas and was wonderful the whole way - no accidents, no issues, no nothing!). Max loves people and is a very polite dog to strangers, in stores/new situations, and in a home environment. He also loves to be the center of attention, which is why we think Max would do best in a home with no other pets, where he can be one on one with an owner who cherishes every moment with him.
The only issue we've noticed with Max is that he has a bit of separation anxiety from time to time, and will need a family that he can go everywhere with or who can work with him on overcoming this and being okay to stay home sometimes. He is not destructive in any way, he simply likes being around his family as often as possible rather than being alone.
If you're interested in adopting Max, please shoot us an email at miller.rescue.pets@gmail.com! We look forward to hearing from you. (And please enjoy a sneak peek of his cute little play howls in the photos).
