2/5/2020-Ruger: EST DOB: 2/3/2018, Lab/Great Dane mix, male, 75 pounds, crate trained

Ruger is a warm-hearted boy who is hopeful that he will find his forever family soon. This handsome fellow is a big softy and is described as extremely loving and sweet. He has an all around great temperament. Ruger loves to play and be active. He would be a great dog for a daily walk or run. He has an adventurous spirit outdoors, but tends to be more nervous about new indoor experiences. He is a very sharp boy and learns quickly. Ruger loves people and would do great as a family dog in a home with older children. He likes playing with other dogs and makes friends easily. He has been attending doggy day care and is learning to social with all types of other pups. Ruger is crate trained and appears to be almost house trained. He will just need some reinforcement in his new home. He was abandon by his family at a young age. They left him only one block away at a grocery store that they frequented. The store employees saw him begging to go home with them, but they never took him back home. Ruger needs a new family that will love, support him, and help him grow into the wonderful family dog that he is meant to be.
