My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ntroducing Yogi!

This amazing boy is all things good in life bundled up in a gorgeous, handsome snuggler. Yogi is seriously everything that you could hope for in your new best friend. Great with everyone including dogs and cats, super sweet with children, adores men and women and just wants to be loved.

Yogi is the perfect balance between a fun playmate who adores hiking and playing with balls/toys, but also settles very well and loves to snuggle on the couch or in your bed after outings.

He would love to have another friend in his new home, but would do fine as an only dog as well. He is not destructive, does fine when left alone and sleeps through the night either in his crate (prefers to be in the same room) or quietly snuggled in your bed.

Yogi is approx 4 yrs old, brought into rescue from a city pound that was full, he was found stray and unclaimed. Yogi was very thin on intake and we are seeing slow and steady weight gain in his foster home now that he is on good food and eating regularly.

Yogi's bloodwork was excellent and his neuter/all of his vetting is now done, which means it's time for this pawsome boy to find his own forever family!

Yogi's adoption fee is $550.
Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, 4DX and other blood testing, urinalysis if needed, fecal testing, deworming if needed, dentals if needed, medication and medical treatment for any concerns, and parasite treatment as needed. This adoption fee doesn't begin to cover the actual costs of vetting, food and care while in our rescue. Our vet fees have increased dramatically in 2020 with price increases from our vet clinics. Some of our dogs have incurred vet bills over $4000.

Hobo Haven is located in St Jacobs Ontario. Our foster families are within 45 mins of our location.
