My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

8/10/09 Matilda is a tiny 5-6 week old puppy that weighs only 7 pounds. She will need 5 or 6 more weeks to grow before she can go to a new home. As you can see, this baby girl has beautiful blue eyes. She is a wonderful blue/taupe color (champagne?).

Matilda came into rescue after she was injured. The injuries to her back leg required that we amputate her leg - but it doesn't seem to have slowed her down much! She is super sweet, gives kisses, and would make a great addition to the right home. Matilda is being fostered with other dogs and cats - and is doing great. She will only be adopted to an experienced dog home.

Before you decide to adopt a dog - please remember that having a canine companion can be expensive! Vet bills run an average of $200 to $300 per year!
