Sweet Roxy!
Roxy is about 6-7 years old and weights about 54 pounds. As you can see, she has the sweetest face but what you can’t see is her sweet personality!
Roxy had a home until her owner’s health was declining and she could no longer care for her. Sadly her owner had to surrendered her to a an over populated shelter in NC. Roxy immediately became the staff's favorite dog.…..”Roxy is the sweetest dog we ever had”!
Roxy is now living in a foster home in NJ. Her foster mom says….”Roxy is a quiet, laid back, very sweet girl. She spends her days lounging on her doggie bed, going for walks and playing with toys. When I says….Let’s go for a walk, she gets excited, her tail wags and wags and she tries to hug her my legs! It’s so cute! Roxy is always happy to see me in morning too... wags tail, stretches, runs to door, sits and waits for me to put her leash on so we can go out. She is very chilled and laid back and has very good manners. Roxy knows the commands…no, sit, wait, stay, paw and let’s go out, she seems to simply knows what to do without being told. She is house trained and will sit automatically when I am preparing her food. Roxy does look very sad at times with her pleading eyes, if only she could talk! I scratch her neck, behind ears, stomach, butt, thighs, she loves it and looks for more by pawing me or pointing her chin up and looking at me. She is an amazing smart sensitive girl who just loves being with her human. This beautiful girl is good with people and other dogs. Roxy is a very unique special, polite, well behaved girl and deserves the best home possible!"

We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to NJ.
