Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome, happy fella is "Goldie". We believe him to be a Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix. Goldie is a happy-go-lucky boy who is dog and people friendly. He is affectionate, playful and an all around sweet boy. Believe it or not, this poor guy was facing euthanasia at a crowded South TX shelter when we rescued him. He is now in foster care and his foster mom says he is doing wonderful! She says he is crate trained and has had no accidents in the home thus far. She says that although he does not recognize his shelter given name, he listens pretty well. He will however, need some continued work on manners (jumping up) and standard commands. Goldie has also proven to be a bit of an escape artist and can go over a standard chain link fence if he desires. So candidates that can offer a privacy fenced yard will be considered first. If you think Goldie could be a fit for you, please send an inquiry today to start the application process. Goldie is approximately 2 years old and 50lbs. He is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
