Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sunshine!
PURRSONALITY: Sunshine is mellow, sweet and incredibly affectionate. He loves pets and head scratches, attention, and snuggling. When he's feeling especially happy, he drools. Sunshine is very gentle, calm and well-mannered. He likes being combed and told he is handsome. He dislikes the car ride to get there - but is well-behaved at the vet's office. Sunshine prefers a quiet and peaceful home. We recommend Sunshine for a home without dogs. We think he'll do well with children if they are high school or college age. Sunshine gets along with some cats, but not others. The type of cats Sunshine prefers are adults who are friendly toward other cats. He is not enchanted by kittens and is intimidated by cats who are bullies or territorial.
RESCUE STORY: Sunshine was abandoned in an apartment complex in Balch Springs. We got a call about a pregnant cat, and the caller hoped we could help before the cat gave birth outside. Turns out, Sunshine was not pregnant - HE is just FLUFFY! Friendly and happy to be rescued, he instantly purred and showed his gratitude.
HEALTH: Sunshine has been tested for FIV/FeLV and is negative for both.
He is microchipped, neutered and current on his vaccinations.
We estimate Sunshine to be between 5-9 years old. He is approximately 11 lbs.
