My story

Some things get sweeter with age...

Mr. Emmy came to us a few years back, when his owner passed away. Our team was a bit concerned because Emmy spent his entire life with Gayle, and we didn't think he would welcome another soul...until now. When it is time for our volunteers to come and feed/water and check in, Emmy is usually waiting on them..he will show you how he wants his food, as well as, where to place it.

Emmy is 16 yrs old, and still has come great spunk in him. We catch him bouncing from one scratching post to another, showing the newbie's how to play with the toys and he loves to just sit in your lap and purrrrrr,

Emmy is good with other cats and has been around dogs. He is good with children as long as their lap is big enough for him to sleep.
