Shelter in place was tailor-made for our Ralph. A homebody at heart, this adorable lug of a dog has really been enjoying his foster stay. He's a senior guy who doesn't see why one would stand or walk, when laying down is an option. And if he can lay close by your side, all the better. Ralph adores human company and would like nothing more than to snuggle and get pets as as often as you're willing. If you're not free for either of those things, he'll be content to lounge near you. In the kitchen, the office, the living room, you name it and he'll be there! Ralph is working on getting used to being comfortable being alone. He enjoys short walks and loves to sniff every blade of grass and leaf in his path. Ralphie is also good with other dogs—he did well in his doggy interactions at the shelter, and has lived quite companionably with another dog foster care. He doesn't want to play, but rather just co-exist side-by-side with his canine chums. The one time Ralph lets his energetic side come out is when the dinner bell rings. He's never late for a meal and loves his treats. He's been eating from a big muffin tin to slow down the chow down! All-in-all, Ralph is very sweet and his funny old man ways definitely bring many smiles all day long!
