My story

Hello
My name is Cheeto and I am 8 months old.
Just about the time all my vet work was done as a young pup , and I was excited to pick out my new forever family, disaster struck. I was hit by a car and had 3 fractures in my pelvis. My vet determined I could heal but I had to be on total crate rest for many weeks. At first it wasn’t bad, as I was very soar. After a month or so, I was bored beyond belief but took my rehab very serious. Finally, freedom!!! It took me about 2 weeks to build muscle again but now I can run and play with all my puppy buddies. My leg is a little different looking if you look closely. From afar or watch me run and play you can’t tell I was in an accident.
My personality according to my mom, is one of the lion in wizard of oz. I love people and especially kids. I just don’t have a lot of courage to be the leader of the pack. If you even raise your voice, I worry I did something wrong. I am very good in the house and will use a doggie door. I will use a puppy pad and have actual peed in my food bowl rather than peeing on the floor if I couldn’t get outside. Yes, I really did that more than once.
There is no kinder hearted puppy than me. When you pet me, my eyes turn into absolute mush and I usually end up on the floor showing you my belly for a rub. I love all my dog friends and would never think about showing aggression or fighting. Usually I am running away from any conflict. That Lion thing again.
I am neutered, micro chipped and up to date on vaccinations. X-rays are available from before and after my accident.
My adoption fee covers transportation from Tennessee
