Ready for a gentle, loving dog that just wants to be near you? Handsome Charlie is a 8-10 years old, 17 pound Whippet mix. He loves everyone he meets and is well behaved with gentle older children. Charlie has a big personality and a lot to say! He loves to talk and he will join you in a song if you love to sing! Charlie would be fine as your one and only but he does enjoy the company of other dogs and is fine with cats. He is a wonderful companion in the car! He absolutely loves to go for walks. Charlie and his life-long friend (Bodie) were abandoned together and while we feel they would be best adopted together we will consider separating them. Charlie loves to burrow under the bed covers at night and keep warm. He is an excellent sleeping buddy cuddling next to you! Charlie is housebroken and knows how to use the doggie door. He is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations. You can meet Charlie and Bodie by filling out an application and scheduling a meeting. They will be a wonderful loving companions. OFFICE

We appreciate that you are interested in one or more of our dogs or cats for adoption. Here is a list of things that should help us answer you in a more timely manner.
1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.
2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)
a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.
b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.
c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
