My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loki #4426 is a 3-year-old male, Pit/ Hound mix. This young man is very social and enjoys attention. His foster family describes him as “happy, energetic and snuggly.” He is house trained. He knows the commands: sit, stay, drop it and shake. He loves going on walks and is good on leash. He is energetic and enjoys exploring, but also is a couch potato when it is time to relax. He is good with other dogs and enjoys having a like-sized friend to play with who matches his energy level. He is also independent and would be fine as an only dog. A meet and greet is recommended if potential adopter has an existing dog. Due to his energy level we do not recommend a home with small children. He is a sweet guy that would love to have a forever home. His favorite treat is a Kong stuffed with peanut butter, remember to only use peanut butter without Xylitol. He weighs 44 pounds and full grown. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups should be on heartworm preventative, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
