Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Email her foster mom,Ms Garcia rogarcia58@yahoo.com, specific information about yourself and your family. What would a typical day look like for Dottie in your home, especially during the busy work week? Do you have experience with transitioning a new dog into your home and how would you do this? Who is your past or present veterinarian? You can assume that if Dottie is posted for adoption then she is still available for adoption. Your inquires should include the information requested. When inquiring about Dottie you must send your inquiry to her foster mom for a response at rogarcia58@yahoo.com. Please do not reply to the group sponsor that has her listed as this is a Courtesy Posting
My name is Dottie. I am a 34 lb. Red Heeler/Spaniel mix. I am full grown so I will not get any bigger. My approximate birthday is Aug 16, 2017. I am completely house trained. I am not crated anymore because I do so well when I am loose in the house. I have my favorite chair and that is where I sleep during the day when it's time for me to take a nap and I also sleep there at night. I walk well on a leash and enjoy going for walks. I'm a quick learner and a very good listener. I like to make my humans happy so I follow commands well. I do best when provided with stimulating toys to keep me busy. I love my Kong and activity ball. I need a home with no large dogs, no cats, and considerate children over 8 years old. Some good activities for me are walks, hikes, going out to eat at pet friendly establishments or other fun activities you enjoy doing. No apartments, please. I need a home with a wooden fully fenced backyard. If you're interested in a loving companion and a good girl I could possibly be a good fit for your family.
Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit will be required prior to Dottie going to any home. Adoption fee for Dottie is $175.
