Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Everyone meet Milkshake!! I know she doesn’t look like your typical Aussie, but she is 12.5% Aussie in DNA and 100% Aussie in personality.
Milkshake is 7 months old (will be 8 months on the 15th)... She weighs around 30 pounds, but will probably gain another 10-ish. We went ahead and had a simple DNA test done on her because can you believe those ears? The results came back as an American Staffy x Australian Shepard! What a combo.
We would prefer she goes to someone with Aussie experience. She deserves the best home and we want to ensure she finds that. She is a dog with a lot of personality. When she picks her person you are it. She loves to be by your side and please. She is still very much a puppy, but she is crate trained, (almost) house trained and great with other dogs!
Because of Milkshake's breed combination, she is HIGHLY intelligent and has some herding tendencies. Milkshake has learned so many tricks and is always ready to listen. We believe she would make an INCREDIBLE agility or trick dog. She has started showing us her amazing agility skills by easily clearing objects. She would love to make someone's athletic buddy, whether that be doing agility, being a trick dog, or going hiking. She will be right by your side.
Since Milkshake does have some herding tendencies and high energy, we recommend she goes to a home with either dog-savvy kids or older ones. She wants to play with cats, but is not aggressive. All she wants to do is learn, learn, learn and please, please, please. Could you be the active home she needs? She is up to date on shots, spayed, dewormed and microchipped! She is adoptable through Pups On The Plains Rescue Team. If you are interested in Milkshake please apply here: https://forms.gle/GADUJqS5guWNfmiv6
