Here's what the humans have to say about me:
NASH is a fantastic companion. He is a healthy boy who loves to hike and play with other dogs. He was originally left behind on a property when the owners moved out and never came back for him. Neighbors would feed him and he lived alone for months. After being able to be picked up by animal control and no owners claimed him, a good Samaritan reached out to us to help get Nash rescued and adopted. He is easy going and very friendly. His ears are amazing and he likes to stick out his tongue. It is so funnty and cute!
We fully vetted Nash. When we rescued him we had no available foster home so a kind rescue supporter offered to cover his boarding at a really great doggy daycare. He plays with 40 doggies at this fun place for dogs and he has a blast. One of the trainers who worked with Nash says "Nash is one other the smartest dogs I have ever worked with". We know NASH's forever family is out there somewhere and we hope he will get adopted and be loved forever because he deserves it. NASH is currently being fostered in Georgia but will happily make his way to the northeast via our vehicle dog transport (included in the adoption fee) to an approved adopter.
For an active young dog like Nash we prefer adopters not have children under 8 years old in the home. For NASH to thrive in a forever home, we are looking for a family who will show this shy boy the ropes and guide him through the changes that come with adapting to a new home.A home with another friendly and confident dog would be best for NASH. He loves and thrives with the company of other dogs. He loves direction and listens to his humans. Having confidence and excited leadership skills will help NASH know you love him and will keep him safe.
