Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Athena is a beautiful, 18-month-old, 45-pound female black and white pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Athena is nervous girl who is best with teens and adults. She is good with other dogs but she can be bossy.
Found stray in Franklin County, Illinois, she doesn't appear to have had a happy puppyhood. She needs time to warm up to new people. Once she loves you, she lets you scratch her butt and feed her treats. Those are her two favorite things. She doesn’t know what to do with balls or toys.
She has not been cat-tested.
Athena is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm and fecal-tested negative.
To meet and possibly adopt Athena, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900 for an adoption application.
Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the rescued dogs of Lucky Dog Rescue.
