Wilma found herself at the Conroe Animal Shelter outside of Houston, TX. We are uncertain how she got there. A Lola's Lucky Day volunteer happened to spot her at the shelter and fell madly in love with her INSTANTLY. Wilma happily walked out of her kennel and placed herself in the volunteer's lap. She gave out lots of kisses. Wilma was obviously destined for WI!!!
Wilma is approximately 10 years old. She is a happy girl. She is fostered with dogs of all shapes and sizes and loves everyone. She has been around a dog-friendly cat and did really well. We have not had the opportunity to see her around children in her foster home in Texas, but we STRONGLY believe that she would be great with them. Wilma is house trained and uses the dog door in her foster home. She is quiet, sweet and absolutely PERFECT!! Wilma has the opportunity to relocate to WI on 2/9. Will you be waiting for Wilma?
**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
