My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gorgeous blue female found in Arlington 6/7/09. Wonderful personality and very affectionate. Lila is going to be on the small side as she is about 45lbs now. She is the perfect size, not to big…not too small! She plays well with the other rescue dogs and is approximately a year. She is a very quick learner and just in one brief session learned ‘wait’ at doorways and from bolting from inside her crate. She is very quick to seek approval and looks to humans for acceptance. She has had some professional training and walks on leash, comes, sits, and downs. She also is crated trained and potty trained. She will go outside and potty on command. Very nice when it is freezing outside! lol..! She also looooves squeeky toys and playing fetch! Lila will not need LONG excercise sessions as she is low key. She will be the kinda dog that goes out, plays for a bit and then ready to crash on the couch...lol..! She will be content just to be with her human.
A.W.O.L. Rescue is located on the outskirts of Dallas Texas. The dogs/puppies were pulled from shelters in surrounding areas that were due to be euthanized had we not taken them in. It is our mission to place all of our ‘rescues’ with sound, loving homes. There will be an adoption application which must be completed and approved before adoptions are final. All of A.W.O.L’s rescues are fully vetted before adoptions. All dogs/puppies will be current on shots, worming and will be spayed/neutered before going to their forever homes.
