Are you cruising for a bruising? No? What about cruising for a BRUISER?? (See what we did there?). Welcome to the CCR family, Bruiser! We're happy to have you, but let's get you that forever home we promised you.
Bruiser is incredibly affectionate, wanting to show his human how smart he is. And how smart he is! This boy is learning so much with his foster mama, it's hard to keep up. Now with being so smart he is a bit bullheaded, and can be stubborn. He requires an owner who's not going to let him run the household and is willing to do the work at maintaining his Good Boy Status.
Bruiser is beginning to get possessive of his home and so training is recommended to desensitize him, as he gets fixated on folks such as repair men, and critters he sees outside the home. With great promise comes great responsibility, and Bruiser is a people pleaser who requires clearly set boundaries and stimulation for his smart brain. We're looking for experienced owners who lead healthy lifestyles and understand that Bruiser is a pup who requires both physical exercise and some brain work.
Now remember, this sweet boy is only a year old, and so he's still learning how to dog, so a lot of his rambunctious energy and bullheadedness will lessen with proper guidance and consistency.
If you're looking for an adventure companion who wants to give you all the love and snuggles, this is the dog for you. Please apply online at: covetedcanines.org/application
