Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little roly poly fella has been waiting ever so patiently for just the right person to come along and appreciate Chico's unique charms. He really is a very sweet boy at heart, we adore him, he just takes a little time to warm up to new people and other dogs. Typical Chihuahua behavior, they have to give you a hard time for a minute or two then they are all about the belly rubs. Chico will do the stop, drop and roll(no, he's not on fire) he just needs one of those belly rubs asap. Right now Chico has the figure of a penguin, not very svelte, but still quite adorable and he gets around great. But, we are working on helping him lose some weight. He has some special food for weight loss and we have been adding extra veggies to his meals. Chico is a great little guy but is going to need a dog savvy home that will be able to do slow introductions to new people and dogs. He is also a little barky at the mailman and such so if you are in an apartment he may disturb close neighbors on occasion. Chico will be an excellent companion for a retiree that would like a loving buddy that is a little more laid back. Chico's adoption fee is just $99 and he will go home with plenty of supplies to help him settle in to his new home! Please email Kristine, joysparrows@gmail.com or call Ray at 815-483-0592.
