My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zita is an attention loving, underbite rocking, sweet girl. She may be on the small side for her breed but her heart is big! She loves her people hard and feels there is nothing greater than pets and scratches from the ones she loves. Don't let her stocky build fool you, this girl can jump and hop like crazy and will greet you this way when you come home (though she doesn't realize she can jump on furniture). When it comes to stairs, you will always know it's her coming because she sounds exactly like a bowling ball being rolled downstairs. She does fantastic in her crate and can be found resting there throughout the day. Potty training is a work in progress but she has made great strides and now knows to use the puppy pads or go outside most of the time. She loves to snuggle in your lap and gets so excited and wiggly just thinking about it. She lives in a foster home with a toddler and several dogs of different sizes and gets along well with everyone. We aren't sure what happened in her past but she is frightened by loud noises like the vacuum and toddler 4 wheelers. Her foster mom usually places her in a separate room to clean up otherwise she will hide or bark. Bathtime and rainy days are not her favorite either but on a sunny day, she can be found laying out for a sunbath. Although she adores and welcomes the extra snuggles a toddler has to offer, she would be best in a home that offers a more quiet environment with older or no kids. She is such a wonderful little lady and now that she has completed her heartworm treatment, she is health & can't wait to finally find her forever home. **Experienced English Bulldog owners only apply

**Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states.
