My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

* COURTESY POST FOR TRAPPER/FOSTER:

This is COSMO!! We trapped her at a big colony in Arcadia and rescued her. She was living under a bush, scrounging for scraps at a neighbors house and kept running across the street when she thought she saw food. The neighbors said that they would leave food maybe every 4-5 days, so she was pretty hungry. They never thought to call anyone about starving kittens in their yard.

She was fostered, socialized and loved as we gave her a chance to come around. She started off hissy & she would swat my hand. She was approximately 4 months old when we trapped her in the street so it took her a little longer to come around, but she has made super strides!

She is now such a ham, she keeps us laughing. She loves to sit on her hind end and “box” your fingers....using no claws. She just loves to bat things around....like ping pong balls, wine corks and anything that goes squirrelly on the floor. She loves to head butt you and get on her hind legs to stretch up and give you hugs. She is a love nibbler. All she wants is your love and attention.

She is a beautiful shade of black with one white patch of fur on her chest. Did you know that black cats carry the Siamese gene? This is probably why she is so social and vocal. She loves to sit above you and “do your hair” with her paws. I wouldn’t pay her a dime because it always looks like “bed head” but she tries her best!

Her best bud in the world is her sister, Tipsy (also available). She wouldn't do well on her own if left for long hours in a home alone. She needs another cat or a family who is in and out. We’d love for you to meet her! We’re looking for her human who will love her and spoil her rotten while she entertains you. She hates adoptions and her true personality is "on hold" when she's there. Please remember that when you look at her photos.

Cosmo is:

* Spayed
* Vaccinated
* Microchipped
* SNAP Tested: Neg/Neg
* Flea Treated: Frontline Plus
* Dewormed: TriWormer
* Litter Box Trained
* Littermate: Tipsy

Thank you for looking at our street cats who are deemed “a lost cause” after 10 weeks of age. We are trying very hard to debunk that myth. We volunteer weekly after work to Trap,Neuter,Return (TNR) colonies of cats and foster as many kittens, teenager and adults that we can care for. TNR is the true way for cities and states to truly get to No-Kill status. Please learn about TNR and join the movement. By adopting from The TNR Project, you are supporting what is so valuable on our streets, helping our communities. We help end the unwanted litters and fix all the adults who return to caretakers and have the numbers to prove it. Sterilize...Don’t Euthanize!

Thank you for looking at our beautiful, special Cosmo!
