Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**Courtesy Post** These two brothers are Butch and Cody in San Antonio. They are 10 year old Jack/Rat mixes. Their elderly owner is having to move and they can’t go with her. They have been well taken care of their entire lives. Butch and Cody weigh about 22 pounds and could probably lose a little bit of weight. Cody has black markings on his face and Butch has the brown face. They are both neutered and up to date on all their shots. They have always been on heartworm prevention and are current on it. We would love for them to be adopted together since they have been together their entire lives. They like attention and to be loved on and are very friendly dogs. They live with three other dogs in their current home. They don’t live around young children, so it would be best for them to be in a home with older kids or adults only. They have always lived with their current owner and have been very well loved but pretty sedentary. Cody is the boss between he and Butch, so Butch always follows Cody’s lead. They are house trained and kennel trained. They both know how to walk on a leash and do well on one, but have always had a yard to play in so they would require a securely fenced yard. They have always been indoor dogs and we want them to continue to be. Butch and Cody are located in San Antonio, Texas. Their adopter would need to be able to travel to that area to get them, or at least part of the way. A home visit and a good vet reference are mandatory to adopt them and there is a rehoming fee.
