Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kevin (formerly Jesse at ACCT) came to The Philly Kitty by way of the open intake shelter. He had arrived there as a stray with his girlfriend Floof a week before, VERY skinny and covered in fleas, but in great spirits! When he arrived at his foster home, he was flea free but his coat was still dull and lacked grooming, he continued to lose weight and was found to have an infection. With some quality vet treatment, abundant stinky, smelly (yummy?) food, and some love and care, he kicked his infection and his coat grew in super soft and silky. Through this entire time of feeling so lousy, Kevin never once shied away from people or Floof.
We're not sure what life Kevin had before making his way to the shelter, but it couldn't have been very glamorous. He has significant scarring on his eyes and we believe he can't see much more than shadows. Despite that, he LOVES climbing the cat tree and "looking" out the window, and he figured out the steps in his foster home in a matter of minutes. He may not know what his toys look like either, but he knows he's never met one he doesn't like! He loves to romp around with his girlfriend Floof and his kitty foster siblings, and doesn't mind dogs at all. He does get a little over excited with human pets and playfulness and occasionally nips, so a home without young kids may be best.
Kevin has recovered and blossomed into a handsome, lanky guy who is ready to move on to his forever home. He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated, so he's ready to go home today!
