Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is a sweet girl who came to us as a nursing mom to six puppies back in December. After her pups were weaned, we noticed Lucy had a limp in her right front leg. An exam showed extensive damage to her shoulder and the recommended treatment to provide the best opportunity for a pain-free life for Lucy was amputation. Now that Lucy has recovered from her surgery, she's looking for her forever family. Lucy is about 3 years old and weighs around 30 lbs. She's got plenty of energy and is looking for an active family. She loves going on walks, although because of her tripod status, she finds it easier to do short jogs rather than walking, so she'd like someone who can keep up with her. She's great around other dogs, but can be overly interested in cats. She'd prefer a one story home and would love to have a yard to run around in (she loves to yell at the squirrels!) She's a big cuddler and wants a family who also wants to snuggle, especially in bed. Any kids should be over age 12.
