Here's what the humans have to say about me:
It's no big mystery why this golden ball of lovable goo is named Buttersctoch, is it? A 10-11 month old pittie mix, he has astounded us with his outgoing, personable nature. He walked into the shelter like he owned the place! He gets along great with other dogs and really enjoys having a playmate (Lumi is currently his buddy), though he would probably be okay as an only dog as long as he gets plenty of exercise. Young pitties are definitely active dogs! Butters tested good with cats and has lived with older children, and he is definitely a very intelligent boy. What more could one ask for in a companion? Butterscotch is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped! Message us, email secondchanceas@yahoo.com, call 570-376-3646, or stop in during business hours to inquire about Butterscotch. Applications can be filled out here: https://secondchanceas.org/adoption-application
We do not ask for set adoption fees but instead ask for an adoption donation based on the costs of providing the dog with basic medical care (spay/neuter, vaccines, etc.), normally $150-175 for a male dog. All adoption donations go 100% toward the care of our wonderful animals!
